Disney+’s plans to crack down on password sharing, like Netflix, no longer seem like a simple option as the new rule goes into effect soon.
People from different households will no longer be able to access the same subscription, and the message is already alerted to subscribers in Canada, who received a less than positive email.
According to the Canadian channel Mobile syrupUsers in the country have received a message that the transfer of streaming passwords will be banned from November 1 this year.
The email also ensures that if subscribers do not follow the rule, the contract with the platform “will terminate access to the service”.
It has not been revealed when the ban will come into effect in countries including the United States and Brazil.
