Documentary series stand out at TV Brasil

Two documentary series open a window on the evening programming of Brazil Television, with reruns on Saturdays. environmental work arctic secrets will air next Thursday (2), at 9:30 p.m., and the series Secrets of the life of a centenarian broadcast on Friday (3), at the same time.

In five episodes, arctic secrets takes the viewer on breathtaking journeys across northern Canada and reveals fun facts about this wild and untamed land. Over the course of a summer and fall, the production captures awe-inspiring landscapes, iconic animals, and some of the most stunning natural phenomena on the planet.

Made by Canadian production company Blue Ant Media between 2016 and 2017, the work uses 4K technology, high-resolution drone-mounted cameras and cutting-edge underwater cinematography to showcase the beauty of the Arctic like few have never seen her.

Already the series Secrets of the life of a centenarian travels the world to reveal how many people in different parts of the planet are managing to reach old age and prolong life in healthy ways. Costa Rica, Cuba, Greece, USA, Italy, Japan and Russia are some of the countries visited. In eight episodes, the series draws up a list of “rules of life” based on the experience of several people over 100 years old.

The attractiveness presented by the public broadcaster shows that in recent decades the number of centenarians has increased more and more. In the last thirty years alone, this amount has increased approximately tenfold.
