Singer Edu Falaschi has confirmed the first special guest for “Eldorado”, his new solo album. The book comes out in August and will continue the trilogy started on his previous album, “Vera Cruz” (2021).
This is the Guatemalan indigenous singer and songwriter Sara Curruchich. The artist keeps alive the deepest roots of Latin America, interpreting his work in Kaqchikel, his mother tongue, from the Mayan civilization, which appeared in Mexico around 2,500 years before Christ.
The promotional material, sent by the press office, says:
“In order to illustrate the whole concept behind the story of ‘Eldorado’, the relationship between the Aztecs, Bispo Negro and the Spaniards, in addition to honoring the deepest Latin roots, Sara Curruchich will offer us her voice, her talent and an Exciting emotion in the interpretation album Eldorado, creating a real emotion and a unique experience for the listeners of ‘Eldorado’.As a singer and songwriter, since her beginnings in San Juan Comalapa, Sara Curruchich has carried her message in different corners of his country, as well as in several other countries of the world, maintaining his commitment to the historical memory of the Latin peoples.”
Edu Falaschi and “El Dorado”
“Eldorado” will be produced by Edu Falaschi himself, in partnership with guitarist Roberto Barros and Paulo Albino. The band is completed by drummer Aquiles Priester, keyboardist Fábio Laguna, guitarist Diogo Mafra and bassist Raphael Dafras.
The orchestrations will be entrusted to Pablo Greg, the choirs being performed by Edu, in the company of Fabio Caldeira, Mi Alvelli and Raissa Ramos. More details on the technical part will be revealed soon. As in previous works, the famous Brazilian designer Carlos Fides will be responsible for the graphic art.
