Rashid, a Brazilian rapper who performed this afternoon at the festival, felt offended by the attitude of his Canadian colleague. “It’s always unfortunate that an artist cancels at the last minute. Especially at a festival like this where so many people paid to see it and didn’t pay cheap,” he said.
“In a way, I feel offended as an audience. It’s easy for him to pay the fine and not put on the show, but I think it’s unfortunate.”

Alessandra Negrini went to the event anyway, to see Rosalía and Baco Exu do Blues, but echoed the sentiment.
“I thought it was bad, terrible. I found it very boring,” the actress said. “I thought it was ugly”
“I’m hesitating. I’m hesitating. I don’t know what happened. I hope it really wasn’t doable, because we like it, we hope… another episode that wasn’t legal in the country,” he said, referring to Drake’s appearance at Rock in Rio 2019.
Former “BBB” Lumena Aleluia also lamented. “I came with a really big expectation to see Drake, but he quit his trip, he didn’t authorize the show in Brazil. He canceled himself,” the influencer joked. “Slutty, left the crowd in need. I was sad.”
Vindication and sad fans
The Canadian canceled the presentation this morning. The show would be at night. He alleged “unforeseen circumstances”. “Drake is deprived of members of his sound and production team, essential to the realization of the Lollapalooza show in São Paulo,” he said, in a note published by the organization of the festival.
In line to enter the festival, the rapper’s fans were also very sad with the idol. “Every time he comes to Latin America it’s a different story, weird, it seems like he doesn’t like us. I’m very disappointed, but I’m going to enjoy what’s left of the festival, he doesn’t there’s nothing to do,” said Gabriel Fernando, 23.
