Circuit Gilles Villeneuve – Formula 1 race

Located in Montreal, Canada, the Circuit Gilles Villeneuve will require riders to complete 70 laps of the 4,361 kilometer track. In all, there are thirteen corners, where the track is fluid and very fast for the drivers of the event in question.

The Montreal track was built in 1967, but only entered the Formula 1 calendar in 1978, where the name is a tribute to the Canadian driver Gilles Villeneuve, driver whose first victory in Formula 1 was precisely at him in Canada.

Initially, the track was created to accommodate the sporting events of the Expo 67 World’s Fair and the Summer Olympics of that year. However, once the events were over, the track began to be inserted inside the space to host motorsport races.
