Fortaleza Esporte Clube announced on Monday (15) the loan agreement of midfielder Caio Alexandre until the end of the current season. The athlete belongs to the Vancouver Whitecaps, Canada. Caio arrives in Pici in the next few days for the exams and to start the activities. According to club president Marcelo Paz, the player will be a great reinforcement for Leão.

Caio was revealed by Botafogo-RJ, where he went through the basic and aspiring categories. For the Rio de Janeiro team, he played 50 games for the professional, scored five goals and provided one assist. For the Vancouver Whitecaps, he played for the past two seasons in Major League Soccer (MLS) and was champion of the Canadian Championship, a tournament that represents the Canadian elite.
