Invest Paraná consultancy has a portfolio of tourism investments that includes state parks paranaenses that can operate in concession scheme. According to the company, the potential investment in these assets could reach US$16 million.
The document, available at consulting website, mentions the state parks of Vila Velha (Ponta Grossa), Monge (Lapa) and Guartelá (Tibagi), in addition to Iguaçu National Park, the second most visited in the country, with an annual average of 1.8 million visitors. Iguaçu National Park is second only to Tijuca National Park in terms of visitor numbers.
Invest Paraná suggests that potential investors, in addition to managing the parks and ensuring their preservation, also invest in exploring new forms of sustainable use of the asset, bringing new tourist attractions to the surroundings of the park.
The portfolio also presents valuable data on tourism in Paraná, revealing that the sector employs approximately 124,000 people directly and that the state has more than 20,000 establishments that operate in the tourism sector. The tax collected annually in the various tourist activities offered by the State generates more than 600 million US dollars for the public coffers.
