Canadian actor Jim Carrey recently announced his retirement, but in another interview he said he might even reconsider his decision to step away from acting depending on the situation.
In the conversation that took place with E! News, the artist discussed the possibility of reprising his role as Ace Venturaa character from the beginning of his career who helped launch Carrey at Hollywood.
Here in Brazil, the comedy film was called “Ace Ventura — A different detective“, released in 1994.
“It’s been a long time, so it would take a genius person, a director or a screenwriter to come to you with a completely new vision of what’s going on, you know?,” the actor said.
He then gives an example of a scenario that would force him to interrupt his retirement: “If Christopher Nolan came to me saying: “I want to do Ace Ventura in a different and interesting way. So, I would definitely listen,” he concluded. Jim Carrey.
