the australian Nick Kyrgios concluded a great week at the ATP 500 in Washington and ended up with two tournament titles: in singles, after beating Nishioka in the decision, and in doubles, alongside his American friend Jack Sock. The two beat Dodig and Krajicek in the final.

With the victorious campaign in the North American capital, Kyrgios jumped 26 places and appeared this Monday at the 37th place in the world in the singles ranking. In doubles, he achieved a career-high 22nd.

Nick’s next tournament will be the ATP Masters 1000 in Montreal, Canada. The 27-year-old tennis player begins his Canadian Masters campaign against Argentinian Sebastian Baez. If he wins, he will face seed 1 Daniel Medvedev.

The current world No. 1 became the ATP 250 champion in Los Cabos, Mexico on Saturday after beating Britain’s Cameron Norrie in the decision. It was 14. Medvedev’s title and now the Russian tennis player will try to defend the title in Canada.
