PSol MP surrenders to MP against US pastor who preached at Umadeb event

The preaching of the American pastor David Eldridge makes people talk. After criticism from secular websites against his sermon delivered at an Umadeb event on this carnival holiday. Now, left-wing MPs have threatened to go see the MP to report the case.

Pastor David’s preaching excited more conservative congregations because it went against what is being heard from many pulpits today, the message was conflicting.

David spoke a lot about hell and the danger Christians face in going there if they don’t repent and seek to truly live holy lives.

“Just as there is heaven, there is hell, and maybe you don’t believe in hell, but hell believes in you,” he warned.

Persecution

Faced with the repercussions of the affair, the left has already risen up and the district deputy Fábio Felix (PSol) declared that he would ask for an investigation into the affair at the Public Ministry of the Federal District (MPDFT).

Félix threatened to file a complaint against the pastor with the Public Prosecutor’s Office and to file a BO with the Special Commissioner for the Repression of Crimes due to Racial, Religious or Sexual Orientation or against the Elderly or Disabled (Decrin).

“Hate speech is not religious freedom. It is a crime! […] The full video only exacerbates the nonsense that has been said. In addition to condemning our affections to a subordinate bad place to be prevented from freely existing on the street, the pastor also says that men who wear tight pants have a ‘homosexual spirit,’” he wrote. .

The MP also criticized that the event had local government support. “LGBTphobia cannot be relativized or promoted by public authorities.”
