This Sunday, the The Brazilian team continued the established tradition last Saturday at Santiago Pan American Gamesin Chile: to conquer skateboarding medals. The 16 year old teenager Raicca Venturaobtained the second position and received the silver medal in the skate park category.
Raicca faced the pressure with determination and achieved his best score in the final lap. Being the last to perform on the track, the Brazilian overcame the challenges and finished with a score of 82.54, thus winning another silver medal for the Brazilian delegation at the 2023 Pan American Games.
On his first attempt, Raicca performed impressive maneuvers but suffered a fall in the final moments, which caused him to lose a significant part of his score. However, on her second attempt, she found herself facing the same situation: a promising start followed by a fall. In the final lap, the skater decided to risk everything and won the silver medal.
Canadian Fay Ebbert, aged just 13, won the gold medal, with a final score of 84.66, while the American Bryce Wettstein completed the podium by winning bronze, with a final score of 79.95. The Pan American Games in Santiago began on Friday October 20 and are scheduled to continue until November 5.
