The protagonist of “Sweet Tooth” visits Belo Horizonte and Serra do Cipó before returning to Canada

Canadian actor Christian Convery has definitely become an Atlético fan. After going viral on social networks wearing Galo’s shirt in the videos of the launch of the Netflix series “Sweet Tooth”, the protagonist has appeared in photos in Serra do Cipó and Belo Horizonte in recent days.

Christian came to Minas Gerais to know the city and the region where his friends Emanuel and Bento belong, son of the athlete Maurício Hetti, who has lived in Canada for more than eight years. Hetti is a member of GaloCouver, Atlético’s consulate in Vancouver, Canada.

Wearing the white consulate shirt, Christian posted photos on his social networks in Belo Horizonte and hiking in the Serra do Cipó. The actor had planned to visit the Arena MRV and the Cidade do Galo, but his professional commitments made him return earlier, as pointed out by Hetti on the FalaGalo portal.

Relationship

In 2021, Christian, protagonist of the Sweet Tooth series, gave an interview for the launch of the series in Brazil. And he appeared on social media wearing Galo’s 71st jersey, which caught the attention of the Brazilian Internet.

From then on, interactions between the parties became constant, with posts from each side. Christian’s relationship with Atlético grew closer and the club even sent jerseys and striker Hulk exchanged messages with the now 13-year-old actor.
