The Super Premiere Session brings another terror with Telecine’s “T” on Saturday (3): “Halloween Ends,” a franchise-closing film starring Jamie Lee Curtis. The screening is at 10 p.m. on Telecine Premium. On Monday (29th), ‘Until the End’, a movie starring Jason Sudeikis and Evangeline Lilly, opens on Telecine Touch at 10 p.m. On Tuesday (the 30th), ‘Rosie’, a Toronto-selected feature film that focuses on an LGBT+ family, hits Telecine Cult at 10 p.m. ‘Pureza’, a film based on a true story and starring Dira Paes, premieres on TV at 8:05 p.m. Wednesday (31), on Telecine Premium. Thursday (1st) will be pure fun at Telecine Fun with the screening, at 10 p.m., of ‘Uncle Drew’ – a comedy that brings together stars of the NBA, like Shaquille O’Neal, and counts on the participation of Tiffany Haddish. On Friday (2), ‘De Repente Drag’ — a feature film starring Frimes, Enme, Silvero Pereira, Silvetty Montilla and Pepita — premieres on television at 10 p.m. on Telecine Premium. Cacau Protásio will turn 48 on Saturday (the 3rd) and, to celebrate her life, Telecine Fun will broadcast, starting at 4:45 p.m., a special program with three films starring her. Sunday (the 3rd), Angelina Jolie also celebrates her 48th birthday and wins a double program on Telecine Action, from 6 p.m. Check out the week’s top highlights below:
GREAT FIRST – ‘Halloween is over’
At 10 p.m. Saturday (the 3rd), another super first for the horror genre arrives at Telecine Premium: ‘Halloween Ends’, a film released in 2022 that closes the franchise starring Jamie Lee Curtis. In the plot, Laurie (Jamie) revisits past traumas when a new killer begins to terrorize the town. On Sunday (4th), from 2.45 p.m., the “Halloween Ends” special will be broadcast on Telecine Pipoca, along with three other films from the saga: “Halloween: A Noite do Terror”, original from the series; ‘Halloween 2 – The nightmare continues!’ and ‘Halloween Kills: The Terror Continues’, out 2021.
Halloween Ends (2022)
Synopsis: Laurie now lives with her granddaughter Allyson. However, a new murderer sends a wave of terror through the town, causing it to once again face the shadows of its past.

SECOND – ‘Until the end’
On Monday (29), there will be a lot of emotion on Telecine Touch with the premiere, at 10 p.m., of ‘Until the End’, with Jason Sudeikis and Evangeline Lilly. In the film, Jason plays Jimmy, a man on parole who returns home to find his childhood sweetheart, Annie (Evangeline). After being diagnosed with terminal cancer, he vows to give her the best year of her life.

THIRD – ‘Pink’
‘Rosie’, a Canadian comedy selected for the Toronto Film Festival, arrives at Telecine Cult this Tuesday (30), at 10 p.m. The story features a girl, from whom the film takes its name, who has to move to Montreal after the death of her mother. In the new town, she has to adjust to living with an aunt, who shares an apartment with two other non-binary people. Through this plot, the film works on the formation of new family types.

Synopsis: After the death of her mother, little Rosie must move to Montreal. There, she begins a new life alongside her aunt and her two non-binary friends.

FOURTH – ‘Purity’
‘Pureza’, starring Dira Paes, will premiere on Telecine Premium at 8:05 p.m. on Wednesday (31). The feature film is inspired by the story of Dona Pureza, a mother from the interior of Maranhão who, in 1993, had to go in search of her enslaved son on a farm. She then sells her things and goes on a journey through the plantations of the Amazon region in search of the boy. In addition to Dira, the cast includes Flávio Bauraqui and Mariana Nunes.
Purity (2022)
Synopsis: In search of her missing son, Pureza is confronted with the cruelty of slavery on farms in the Amazon. In search of justice, she gets involved in this fight for freedom.

FIFTH – ‘Uncle Drew’
Thursday (1st), “Uncle Drew” debuts on Telecine Fun, at 10 p.m. The feature film brings to the big screen the character who became popular in the United States thanks to advertisements for the Pepsi brand of soda. Retired basketball player Uncle Drew is played by athlete Kyrie Irving. In the story, the protagonist is invited to play in a tournament by Dax (Lil Rel Howery). He accepts the proposal on one condition: the team must be formed by his former teammates – played by NBA stars Shaquille O’Neal, Chris Webber, Reggie Miller and Nate Robinson. The cast also includes the participation of Tiffany Haddish.
Uncle Drew (2018)
Synopsis: Without a team to play in a tournament, Dax goes after basketball legend, Uncle Drew. You agree to participate, as long as your former companions also play.

SATURDAY – Protasium Cocoa Anniversary
Saturday (the 3rd) is the day to sing happy birthday to Cacau Protásio, one of the most popular Brazilian comedians today. In honor of her birthday, Telecine Fun will air, starting at 4:45 p.m., a three-hit special featuring the actress. The program begins with ‘Vai Que Cola 2 – Le Commencement’, a film that shows how the residents of the Dona Jô pension met. At 6.20 p.m., “Os Farofeiros”, a comedy in which four colleagues decide to rent a house on the beach to spend their holidays, will be broadcast. Then, at 8:15 p.m., “A Sogra Perfeita” is screened, in which Cacau plays a recently divorced woman who, to enjoy her single life, introduces her son to one of her employees.
