After canceling his tour, Shawn Mendes opens up about his mental health

Last month, Shawn Mendes surprised his fans by canceling his world tour”Wonder”, after postponing three weeks of shows in North America to address his mental health. πŸ‡§πŸ‡·I’ve been touring since I was 15 and to be honest it’s always hard being on the road away from my friends and family.β€œwrote the canadian musician in a letter posted on social networks.

Weeks after the singer’s concert schedule was finally canceled, he was approached by a tabloid photographer TMZwho did an improvised interview with the artist leaving Los Angeles airport this Wednesday (10).

Mendes hesitated when approached by paparazzi and quickly replied, “I’m just waiting for my car, manπŸ‡§πŸ‡· The photographer insisted and asked how the days of Shawn away from work. πŸ‡§πŸ‡·I do therapyβ€œ, assured the Canadian.

The interviewer then asks if the artist is doing “anything fun” during this time. “Yeah, it’s simple, man… Spending time doing things I haven’t really done in years and… having dinner with friends and all that.β€œreplied Mendes.

The singer had 47 dates shows scheduled only in United Statesin addition to others 32 presentations marked on the UK and EuropeπŸ‡§πŸ‡·

The decision was taken jointly with his team and the health professionals who accompany Shawn Mendes.
