Anitta was nominated for the American Music Awards in the Best Latin Artist category. She competes alongside Becky G, Kali Uchis, Karol G and Rosalía.
The AMA published, this Thursday (13), the list of nominees for this year’s awards, scheduled for November 20.
Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican singer who is a global phenomenon, tops the list with eight nominations. With the album “Un Verano Sin Ti”, he entered several songs in the Spotify world ranking of the most listened to and accumulated millions of views on YouTube clips.
Beyoncé, Taylor Swift and Drake appear in the streak with six nominations each. The Canadian rapper comes to Brazil in 2024 as one of the attractions of Lollapalooza, in São Paulo.
