Preta Gil announced in January this year that she was against bowel cancer. Since then, the artist has received the support of several friends and of his family, which has always been united. The singer discovered the disease after spending six days in hospital with abdominal pain and undergoing treatment for cancer. She has a lot of faith and is supported by famous family and friends. See, below, some messages that the singer received after the diagnosis
Gilberto Gil, the singer’s father, was one of the first to supported her via social media. “Pretinha, since you were born, everything around you has become more beautiful and intense. Your strength has always been an example for all of us. We are with you,” the singer-songwriter wrote.
Francisco Gil, Preta’s son, also used the web to support his mother and reassure his fans: “To all those who send messages, everything will be fine. My mother is fine, we are fine… Always in the light”
Preta’s ex-husband, Otavio Muller, Francisco’s father, shared an old photo in which he hugs the singer and their son. “Amor,” he captioned the post, which garnered more than a thousand rave comments.
Flor Gil, Preta’s niece, always publishes stories accompanied by her aunt, even in the hospital, during treatment. The teenager also writes several motivational messages for the singer. “Everything will be fine, aunt. Everything has already worked out. I love you, I love you very much,” he said in one of the posts.
