Dubai, United Arab Emirates – August 17, 2023: Emirates announces that its codeshare partnership with Air Canada has been extended to include flights to and from Montreal, following the launch of services to the largest city in the Quebec in July. Emirates customers will now be able to plan travel between 11 of the most popular domestic points beyond Montreal and destinations on Emirates’ extensive network, conveniently using the services of both airlines on a single ticket.

The expanded Canadian points network included in the codeshare partnership between Emirates and Air Canada now extends to 11 destinations via Montreal, with an additional 69 points accessible from the gateway, on an interline basis.

Tickets are available on emirates.com and at preferred travel agencies.

The codeshare partnership between Emirates and Air Canada allows customers to enjoy flexibility and choice with seamless connections across Canada’s two largest cities to points such as Halifax, Edmonton, Ottawa and Calgary – perfect for leisure and business travelers or visiting family and friends. From Toronto, Emirates customers can travel up to 19 points while enjoying codeshare benefits and 100 extras, made possible through an interline agreement.

Customers traveling from Canadian cities can easily connect to Emirates services in Montreal or Toronto to travel to exciting destinations in Asia, Africa and the Middle East through the airline’s hub in Dubai.

On its flights to and from Toronto, Emirates offers daily services to Dubai on its popular A380 aircraft. Travelers with itineraries on Emirates flights can plan their entire journey on a single ticket and enjoy hassle-free flight benefits, including the airline’s free baggage allowance, plus convenient checked baggage up to ‘to their final destination.*

Additionally, members of Emirates’ frequent flyer programme, Emirates Skywards, can expect to earn and redeem miles on both airlines’ flights, thanks to the partnership.

* Checked baggage is valid for travel outside of Canada. International travelers traveling to destinations in Canada must clear their baggage through Canadian customs at their first point of entry (Toronto or Montreal).
