Registrations open for the UFV half marathon

Registrations for the UFV half marathon are now open. The 21 kilometer street race will take place for the first time on the Viçosa campus, on August 27, and will be part of a sporting event that will also include 10 and 5 kilometer races. Athletes can guarantee their participation via the website meiomaratona.ufv.br, according to the categories and values indicated. The seats are limited.
The start and finish point of the three races – 21, 10 and 5 kilometers – will be the Arthur Bernardes building and the routes will cross different landscapes of the Viçosa campus, considered one of the most beautiful in Brazil. Those who complete the courses – now available on the event website – will win medals and certificates. There will also be trophies for the first announcements, as well as the distribution of gifts from sponsors.
The event, which will celebrate UFV’s 97th anniversary, is organized with the aim of promoting health, well-being and integration between the University and the community. To stay up to date with the latest news, simply go to site and the Instagram of UFV Half Marathon.
