Canadians took a snow shower and “swam” in the icy ground during a winter carnival party in Quebec. With little clothing, participants in the game, called Winter Carnival Snow Bath, jumped and rolled in the snow on a day when thermometers read -6ºC in the city.

In 2014, the event, which takes place every year, brought together dozens of courageous participants, according to an article in “The Vancouver Sun” newspaper. The public who followed the match, all dressed to protect themselves from the cold, were greeted with snowballs.

The Quebec Winter Carnival features several events and the city expects to receive around 70,000 visitors during the three-week festival which began on January 31 and will continue until this Sunday (16).
