Gol reduces supply in Rondônia due to court case

Disclosure/Purpose

At the moment there are no plans to resume the old offer in Porto Velho

The state of Rondônia continues to lose connectivity and flight options to other parts of the country due to the large number of lawsuits suffered by the airlines operating there.

After Azul confirmed a reduction in the air network dedicated to Rondônia, it is now Gol who has decided to cancel operations, reducing its total offer in the state by 48%.

In the decision already in force, Gol reaffirms that the strong judicialization of the company in Rondônia was a decisive factor for the reduction of operations. The canceled flights were those connecting Porto Velho to Manaus. The others, like that of the GRU in Porto Velho, for example, still exist.

See Gol’s official position on the matter below:

Gol informs that, in the comparison of its air network from July 23 to May 23, it has reduced the supply of seats in the state of Rondônia by 48% and canceled flights from Porto Velho to Manaus. The heavy legalization faced by the Rondônia company is a decisive factor in the reduction of Gol’s operations in the state and, also, a brake on the maintenance of services. At present, there are no plans to take over the offer from Porto Velho.
