Luisa Stefani celebrates her WTA 1000 title in Guadalajara and jumps up the tennis rankings

After the thrilling Brazilian final, Luisa Stefani took a huge leap in the women’s tennis world ranking published on Monday (24) by adding the points of the WTA 1000 title in Guadalajara, Mexico, won alongside Australian Storm Sanders. Luisa won her second WTA 1000 trophy. Last year, she lifted the trophy in Montreal, Canada alongside Dabrowski. She was also a WTA 1000 runner-up in Cincinnati, USA and Miami, USA with North American Hayley Carter. With the title, Luisa will move from 217th place to the top 60 in the world. The Brazilian was in the top 10 at the start of the season.
