Man vandalizes health center with reception chairs in South Carolina

A man vandalized a health center in Navegantes, a town on the northern coast of Santa Catarina, this Tuesday (3). He was filmed using a row of reception chairs to smash the unit’s windows. (watch above).

The video shows the man breaking the panels from inside the unit. Then, the attacks continue outside the health center. He vandalizes the post without being contained.

According to the Military Police, called to the incident in the central region of the city, the 42-year-old man said that he is ill and would not have been seen for a medical appointment. g1 SC didn’t find him or his defense.

The Prime Minister also indicated that the suspect had been taken to the police station. Oh g1 he also asked the civil police if he had been arrested, but had no response until the last update of the text.

The town hall, by advice, informed that the man is a regular patient of the Basic Health Unit (UBS) and he waited to be called, and no help was refused him. He also indicated that he had been consulted the previous evening, at the same place.

According to the municipality, the man broke the panels that make up the window and the entrance door of the place, “causing damage to the physical structure and potentially posing a risk to the safety of people and the operation of health establishments” .

Despite this, according to the note, the station continued to receive patients normally throughout Tuesday, after palliative repairs. The losses, according to the town hall, exceed R$13,700.
