The Foundation receives orthopedic material from the Instituto Unimed Rio Preto

The aid was made possible by the Ciranda project, which engages and donates items to people with disabilities and institutions

The Padre Albino Foundation (FPA), which manages the Padre Albino and Emílio Carlos and Recanto Monsenhor Albino hospitals, received this Thursday, January 12, a donation of orthopedic material from the Unimed Rio Preto Institute.

The aid was provided through the Ciranda project, which lends and donates equipment to people with physical disabilities or reduced mobility, as well as institutions that register to receive such equipment. This is the case for the Foundation, which received 10 wheelchairs, 20 bath chairs, 10 walkers, 30 pairs of crutches and 10 pairs of Canadian crutches.

The delivery was made with the participation of the Institute’s third sector analyst, Maurício Toledo Azevedo, the director of health and social assistance of the FPA, Renata Rocha Bugatti, the coordinator of the collection of funds, Júlio Cesar Luiz, and administrative assistants, Jéssica Braga and Cristiano Eufrasio.

“We are very grateful to the Institute for the donation. This equipment is widely used in hospitals and in Recanto; will make a difference in our service,” Renata emphasized.
