The press reports the death of a Canadian after plastic surgery; fake news is debunked

News that the Canadian actor and influencer Saint Von Colucci, aged 22, died last Sunday (23), in South Korea, following complications during plastic surgery, this is false. Alleged artist spent around $222,000 to look like Jimin ParkBTS star, but it is believed that the man does not exist and that his image was generated by artificial intelligence programs.

The statement sent by his supposed press secretary to the newspaper The daily mailthe first to publish the story, said that Saint’s goal, besides looking like the star, was to be able to play him in the series Nice lies. He then developed an infection, was intubated and died from complications related to further surgery.

Oh Daily Mail took the article off the air and, according to the Canadian website iHeartthe editors of the English newspaper determined that the journalist Ruth Bashinsky, from New York, was deceived and this whole story is a hoax. The elaborate hoax, republished by media outlets around the world, including WHOlisted the actor’s rumored surgical procedures, such as rhinoplasty, face lift, lip reduction, eyebrow and eye lift, and his expectations of success in South Korea.
