A video has gone viral on social media showing Canadian defender Allysha Chapman shouting profanities during Canada’s 4-0 loss to Australia in a match qualifying for the final round of the Cup group stage of the world of women’s football. As a result, the Canadians ended up being eliminated from the tournament.

The gesture which gave rise to the insults occurred 20 minutes into the second half. Chapman ended up colliding with Hayley Raso, leaving them both lying on the field. The two argued, being reprimanded by the judge. The Canadian player, however, was angry with someone – the judge or a rival. Then came the insults.
