Singer Celine Dion can no longer get up or walk, as revealed by a close friend of the artist to the magazine Here. According to the publication, a relative of the Canadian said that she was suffering from pain in her legs which prevented her from moving. The difficulty is due to Celine’s illness, which leaves her weak and losing weight. Due to the symptoms, the singer postponed the shows she was going to do in Las Vegas, in the United States, in November.

“She can no longer get out of bed, move or walk. She suffers from pain in her legs and feet which paralyzes her. She is very weak and has lost a lot of weight. It is a disease that can require a long convalescence. If things don’t improve, she may be away for several months or even a year. Because his symptoms are more worrying than expected,” said the artist’s relative.

In October, Celine Dion warned that she would have to postpone the debut of her new tour, the Courage World Tour, which was to be held in Las Vegas, United States. The singer claimed she has severe and persistent muscle spasms, a condition that prevents her from rehearsing for her performance. The artist’s shows would take place at the new Resort World Theater starting in November, with repeats in January and February 2022.

On social networks, Céline lamented her state of health. “I am heartbroken about this. My team and I have been working on our new show for eight months, and not being able to premiere in November saddens me beyond words. Now I have to focus on my improvement (…) get over it as soon as possible,” said the singer.
