‘Drake & Josh’ actor Drake Bell has been found and is safe, reports the TMZ. Police listed the 36-year-old star as missing and in danger on Thursday (13).

Law enforcement sources told the US website that the actor was safe. It remains unclear where he was and why authorities even feared for his life.

Drake Bell was officially reported missing after officers became “deeply concerned for his well-being”, the publication said earlier. At the time, police in Daytona Beach, Florida said, “He is listed as missing and in danger.”

Previously, he was last seen on Wednesday evening (12) driving his vehicle. A witness said they met the Canadian actor and singer on Tuesday (11); the person, who was a fan, said he greeted the star and said he was calm and soft-spoken.

In Brazil, Drake became known for his work on the “Drake & Josh” series, which was produced between 2004 and 2007. Drake Bell and Josh Peck star as brothers Drake Parker and Josh Nichols. Miranda Cosgrove is the duo’s younger sister and plays Megan Parker.

In 2021, Drake was arrested for having an inappropriate conversation with a 15-year-old boy. The dialogues would often have had sexual content. Initially, it was Canadian police who recorded the event in 2018 and then passed it on to US authorities.

In the United States, investigations revealed that the actor and the victim maintained a previous contact; the teenager even went to a Drake Bell concert, who is also a musician, in December 2017. Months before the event, he allegedly sent inappropriate messages to the minor via social networks.

Drake told fans he didn’t know the girl’s age when he started communicating with her on the internet and defended that he stopped talking to her when he found out she was a teenager.

In recent years, he has faced allegations of drunk driving and alleged abuse of a woman with whom he had a five-year relationship. In 2014, she filed for bankruptcy.
