Find out which countries Lula has won as president

The former president and candidate for the elections of the Workers’ Party (PT), Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, has been chosen to occupy the head of the national executive in some countries of the world. It is possible to find out where he was elected from the partial results of the elections taking place in different countries this Sunday (30).

The official results, however, will not be released until after 5 p.m. by the Superior Electoral Tribunal (TSE), when polling stations are closed in Brazil.

Check out the countries where Lula won in the second round:

  • Australia – In Sydney, the PT obtained 61.3% of the vote against 38.7% for Jair Bolsonaro (PL)
  • China – The PT received 199 (58%) votes, while Bolsonaro won 146 votes (42%)
  • South Korea – Lula obtained 64.3% (126 votes) of the valid votes, against 35.7% (70) for Jair Bolsonaro (PL)
  • New Zealand – PT was chosen by 70.3% of Brazilians against 29.7% of Jair Bolsonaro (PL)
  • Singapore – Lula was chosen by 63.71% (230 votes), while 36.29% (131) preferred Jair Bolsonaro (PL).
