Public and private managers of the tourism sector of large field had, this Monday (28), the opportunity to learn about the actions and programs of the Ministry of Tourism to support the development of the sector.

In the presence of the Minister of Tourism, Celso Sabino, the meeting marked the realization of yet another edition of the “Itinerant MTur”which decentralizes the activities of Pasta, offering options to the whole country to promote local tourism.

Initiatives include the availability of credit for financing through Fungetur (Fundo Geral de Turismo), which provides resources with differentiated conditions to private entrepreneurs in the sector, such as tourist agencies, tourist transporters, event organizers, theme parks, tourist camps, restaurants, cafeterias, bars, etc.

Minister Celso Sabino highlighted the MTur’s approach to the needs of the sector across the country.

“With this, we have decentralized the actions, placing the Ministry of Tourism in each State of the Federation and showing how simpler, easier and faster it has become for the State to support private initiative. From now on, we are working in this direction: strengthening entrepreneurs to generate jobs, expand, build, equip”

The Minister of Tourism once again defended the need to strengthen the ecotourism sustainability in Brazil. “The best way to preserve the environment and combat the increasing climate change the world is experiencing is to explore sustainable ecotourism. Develop the populations that live in the regions of the Pantanal, in Bonito, throughout the country, in the Amazon rainforest, offering citizens an alternative to develop themselves, earn an income, raise their children with a quality of life and, at the same time time, preserving the environment,” said Celso Sabino.

Recently, the Ministry of Tourism transmitted cadastre by nine accredited agents, of which R$64.5 million was awarded to Cresol Sicoper and R$45.1 million to Cresol Baser, which serve Mato Grosso do Sul.

“MTur Itinerante” also promotes the formalization of the sector, with the presentation of the advantages of registering tourist activities in the Cadastur (Registration of Tourist Service Providers), which include, for example, access to Fungetur.

Registration in the Cadastur is free and compulsory for seven categories of activities in the sector: tourist camps; Tourism agencies; means of accommodation; event organizers; Theme parks; tourist carriers and tourist guides. Applications must be submitted on the website of the Ministry of Tourism.

Caravan

The Campo Grande “Roving MTur” also had the participation of Rose Modesto, Superintendent of Sudeco (Superintendent of Midwest Development), who launched the Sudeco Caravan.

Until Wednesday (30), the city will listen to the public regarding the Constitutional Funding Fund for the Midwest (FCO) and the Midwest Development Fund (FDCO), to facilitate entrepreneurs’ access to lines of credit.
