In his message, Zelensky is willing to continue the dialogue with Lula da Silva, whom he says he hopes to receive in Ukraine.

Amorim traveled to kyiv with the aim of discussing with Zelensky the peace initiative promoted by the Brazilian leader and supported by part of Latin America.

The trip to kyiv follows a recent trip to Moscow, where Amorim met with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Brazilian president intends to transfer his initiative to the next G7 summit, which will be held under the Japanese presidency on the 20th and 21st in Hiroshima.

Brazil will take part in the meeting of the seven great powers – United States of America, Canada, United Kingdom, France, Italy and Germany, in addition to Japan – as a guest country from Latin America.
