Discover the Canadian team for the Qatar World Cup – Rádio Itatiaia

Canada met the 26 squad for the World Cup in Qatar. The selection arrives for the second world participation, after being eliminated in the first phase in 1986, in the Mexican Cup.

Far from the group of favorites, the Canadians travel to Qatar with two young stars. The main one is winger/winger Alphonso Davies, who defends Bayern Munich in Germany. Besides him, the selection expects a lot from striker Jonathan David, from Lille-FRA.

The Canadian national team was the qualifying champion for North America and Central America. In Group F he will be alongside Belgium, Croatia and Morocco, making his world debut on Wednesday (23) against the Belgians.
