Justin Bieber shows off part of his paralyzed face in video: ‘I have to take it slower’

canadian singer Justin Bieber posted a video on his social media this Friday (10) to show part of his paralyzed face. The symptom is Ramsay Hunt Syndromea reactivation of a viral infection in the facial and auditory nerve.

The footage shows Justin blinking, smiling and moving his nostril to just one side of his face. Recently, the the singer has canceled some concerts on his tour precisely because of the symptoms of the syndrome.

“For those of you who are frustrated with upcoming show cancellations, obviously I’m not physically able to pull them back. It’s pretty serious as you can see. I wish it wasn’t the case, but clearly my corpo says i need to go slower and I hope you understand,” he said.

“I’m going to rest so I can recover my face and get back to how I should be. I love you guys thank you for being patient with me I’m going to get better and I’m doing all the special exercises to get my face back to normal… it’s ok it just takes a while and we don’t know how long it will be, but it will be fine.”
